Assisted is looking for a hospice RN to join our team in Ventura to do admission visits. The position is paid per visit, but we're looking for coverage in the late morning/early afternoon into the evening (until 7pm or 8pm) at least 2-3 days per week.

Admission are paid: $200 per visit + $11 for mileage.

What you will do:
  • Have flexible hours and work close to home (reduce your commute!)
  • Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of the patient’s needs.
  • Provide service and/or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
  • Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
  • Counsel, support and instruct the patient, family and caregiver in meeting nursing and related needs.
Who you are:
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Current, active license in the state of California Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR, health clearance, TB clearance.
