PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace company to hire an Inspector who takes pride in precision, quality, and getting the details right.
As an Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring aerospace products and assemblies meet exacting specifications and quality standards. Your work will help ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of products used in the aerospace industry.
What You’ll Do- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed products, including electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, and structural components.
- Identify defects such as internal flaws, missing welds, and other non-conformances.
- Use a variety of precision measuring devices, including dial indicators, micrometers, scales, and inspection fixtures.
- Inspect products using blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, inspection instructions, and checklists.
- Accept, reject, or identify products requiring rework based on established requirements.
- Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control and other quality procedures.
- Ensure inspection activities consistently meet established aerospace quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and inspection documentation.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
- Ability to follow established procedures and inspection requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
- Experience inspecting electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) or other quality control methods.
- Experience with precision inspection equipment and fixtures.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $41.00 per hour
