Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify authorized access when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel;
Support a professional environment by assisting visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors with directions, basic site information, and incident reporting procedures
