Job ScheduleDay Time:
Wed 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM, Thur 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor control, badge checks, and after‑hours entry procedures in accordance with site protocols and healthcare location requirements.
- Support daily operations by observing for policy violations, assisting with de‑escalation when appropriate, and reporting incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- This position may involve working in and around a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
