** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify authorized access when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support a professional environment by assisting visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors with directions, basic site information, and incident reporting procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
