Pay Rate: $24.53 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and other security‑related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, document daily activities and/or incidents, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security‑related issues according to post procedures.
• Support order at the location by providing directions, observing visitor activity, and assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
