• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry by verifying visitor presence, providing directions, and reporting access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or policy‑related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
