Armed Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Vehicle Patrol to protect client sites across the Irvine area. In this role, you will conduct routine armed patrols by vehicle, observe and report suspicious activity, enforce site policies, and respond to alarms or incidents. Duties include access control, incident reporting, and professional interaction with clients and visitors. You will follow strict safety and weapons handling procedures while supporting a culture of vigilance, integrity, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine armed vehicle patrols of client properties and parking areas
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
• Control access to facilities and verify identification as required
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following company procedures
• Document incidents and daily activities in clear, accurate reports
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients via radio and phone
• Provide professional, customer-focused service to clients and visitors
• Follow all safety protocols, weapons handling policies, and post orders
• Support investigations by reporting observations and securing scenes
• Participate in required training and maintain all certifications
