Job Summary
Porter / Yard Worker
We are seeking a Porter / Yard Worker who will be responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location’s property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as necessary, and inspecting equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Station and retrieve equipment on the location’s property.
- Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary to ensure compliance with all specifications.
- Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Safety-focused mindset.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required.
CompensationBase Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
