Plumber, Building Maintenance
Salary Range: $31.88 - $47.36 / hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview:
The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems throughout Community Memorial Healthcare. This role is essential for maintaining water, drainage, and sewage systems to ensure a safe, sanitary, and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- C-36 Plumbing Contractor license from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB)
- Five (5) years of experience as a commercial plumber
- Valid California driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is insurable under Community Memorial Healthcare insurance coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of experience as a commercial plumber
- Prior healthcare or hospital plumbing experience
- Proficient in soldering, brazing, Pro Press, cast iron, snaking, jetting, camera inspection, and welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and infection control procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices specific to healthcare facilities
- Knowledge of hospital plumbing systems, including water, drainage, sewage, and medical gas systems
