A-Bear Roofing is a local, family-owned company looking for a hardworking, reliable Roofer to join our team in Ventura! You’ll help install, repair, and maintain roofs while keeping job sites safe and organized.

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others. Roofing experience is preferred. You must have your own vehicle for reliable transportation to and from work.

• Help install, repair, and replace roofing materials
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation
• Install flashing and seal roof joints to help prevent leaks
• Safely use ladders, roofing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Load, unload, and organize materials
• Keep job sites clean and follow all safety procedures
• Work closely with the crew to complete quality work on schedule
• Treat customers, coworkers, and customer property with respect

• Previous roofing experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Own vehicle for transportation to and from work
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred
• Ability to work safely at heights and climb ladders
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 40+ pounds and perform physical work, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while following safety guidelines
