Shipping​/Receiving Associate

Spherion is recruiting on behalf of one of Vermont's top employers for multiple Shipping/Receiving Associates on a contract-to-hire basis in Vergennes. The role offers a large, supportive team and room for growth.

• Package products for shipment in accordance with company standards, carrier requirements, and government/military packaging specifications
• Verify shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork
• Ensure part number and serial number on product matches shipping labels
• Unload inbound shipments from trucks using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment
• Receive and inspect incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Ability to lift and move packages
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment

No Degree Required

1-4 years

• Experience processing domestic and international shipments using SAP or similar ERP and carrier systems (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, freight forwarders)
• Hazmat / Dangerous Goods certification
• Experience with AESDirect/ACE filings
• Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, or medical)
• Familiarity with export controls (ITAR/EAR), government shipping requirements, and compliance procedures

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
