The University of South Dakota Office of Admissions is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented, self‑motivated individual for the position of Admissions Counselor.

Responsibilities include:

territory management, marketing and recruitment activities on‑and off‑campus; assisting with financial aid as necessary; database management; counseling prospective students and families; contributing to overall enrollment management goals; evaluating prospective students and participating in the selection of applicants for admission.

• Bachelors degree and valid driver’s license required.

• Related admissions experience preferred.

• Knowledge of The University of South Dakota campus, departments, and admission standards desirable.

• Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), be self‑stators, and have the ability to be creative in developing recruiting opportunities, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
