Position Overview
Educational Technology Integrationist, University of South Dakota.
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) seeks a qualified candidate to work with faculty to solve specific technological and pedagogical challenges, to provide training in technology and pedagogy, including Generative AI use in the classroom and productivity, to support graduate and undergraduate student employees, to provide data for outcomes-based assessment, and to support marketing and outreach. The position is highly collaborative and may require off‑campus travel.
It is primarily located on the Vermilion campus, with up to three days per week at the USD‑Sioux Falls campus.
Work with faculty on educational technology integration, develop and deliver professional development, support student employees, provide data for assessment, and contribute to outreach and marketing activities.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree.
- Evidence of teaching at any level.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively across units regardless of location, formality, or modality.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
- Graduate degree in Education, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Terminal degree that allows teaching at USD.
- Evidence of successful teaching in higher education.
- Experience with instructional design and course management systems (preferably Desire2
Learn). - Experience teaching online.
- Experience in professional or faculty development.
- Experience with Generative AI.
- Experience with Digital Accessibility and/or assistive technologies.
- Experience in mentoring students and/or colleagues.
- Working knowledge of web‑based applications and emerging technologies for distance learning.
- Experience training personnel and developing training materials.

WorkingConditions
Physical requirements include bending, stooping, twisting, carrying, climbing stairs, driving, fine finger manipulation, grasping, lifting light, pushing/pulling, reaching, repetitive motion, sitting for sustained periods, and using both hands.
