United Way of Vermillion operates the Community Connection Center (CCC), a one‑stop‑shop for people in need in Clay County, South Dakota. The VISTA will work with organizations within and outside the CCC to develop a sustainable volunteer recruitment and placement process, and design volunteer training workshops. The program offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact while gaining skills in research and community organizing.
