We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk in Ascutney, Vermont. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting accounting operations and ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Department, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.

- Organize and maintain accurate records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and other financial files.

- Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness.

- Input daily financial data into the accounting system, maintaining accuracy and compliance.

- Prepare and execute weekly accounts payable checks, adhering to company procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to address accounting-related tasks and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

- Proficiency in processing invoices, coding transactions, and performing check runs.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data entry with accuracy.

- Familiarity with invoice reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.

- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and resolve issues.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
