CatCH After school Program Assistant

St. Johnsbury School is looking for a CatCH After school Program Assistant (Temporary Part-Time, Seasonal). Are you looking for meaningful part-time work that fits a student or afternoon schedule? Join the CatCH Crew and make a real difference in the lives of local youth through our after school enrichment program. This position may be an excellent fit for an individual who enjoys being part of a school environment and contributing to the success of an after school program but prefers a support and organizational role rather than a position involving primary responsibility for working directly with students.

You will have the opportunity as needed to work with students. This would include managing general attendance/check-in, providing coverage for support staff as needed, and supervising playground and bus duty.

The CatCH Program Assistant member is an important part of the program's team. By preparing spaces, organizing materials, maintaining supplies, and anticipating the needs of staff, this position allows the CatCH team to focus their time and attention on providing high-quality care and programming for students.

Position Summary

This position supports the CatCH staff by anticipating program needs, preparing materials and spaces, maintaining supplies and linens, and completing routine organizational tasks that help the program operate smoothly. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, organized, and proactive. The ability to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative without constant direction is essential to the success of this position.
