About the Role

The ERP & Inventory Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system while also managing receiving and inventory control functions that support daily manufacturing and operational activities. Working closely with operations, finance, purchasing, inventory, quality, and management, this position bridges system management with physical inventory control to ensure seamless flow of information and materials throughout the organization. What you bring

You are a proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of ERP systems, inventory control, and operational workflows. You take ownership of data accuracy and physical inventory processes, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. You understand the importance of accuracy, compliance, safety, and organization, and you are motivated to improve systems and processes that directly support operational efficiency and patient safety.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with ERP systems, including implementation, configuration, data management, and user support.
  • Experience with receiving inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of business processes such as finance, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience developing training materials and conducting user training.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials as required (up to approximately 75 lbs).
Essential Job Functions
  • Lead and support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the company’s ERP system, including planning, configuration, testing, data migration, and go‑live activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and system owner for ERP‑related issues, troubleshooting errors and coordinating with vendors or consultants as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into ERP configurations, workflows, permissions, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain ERP master data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with physical inventory.
  • Develop, maintain, and document ERP procedures, work instructions, and user guides.
  • Train end users and provide ongoing system support to ensure effective adoption and consistent use.
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inspect materials and products for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and coordinate resolution as needed.
  • Accurately record received goods in the ERP/inventory system and maintain proper documentation and traceability.
  • Store materials in designated locations according to inventory and safety procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory reconciliations. Coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to address discrepancies, shortages, or process gaps.
  • Support integration between the ERP system and other business systems as applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage area in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
