Infant Teacher

Charlotte Children’s Center is based in Charlotte, Vermont, and is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children in a supportive and nurturing environment. With a focus on fostering growth and development, the center is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each child and family it serves. Through a combination of play‑based learning and structured activities, Charlotte Children’s Center aims to create a strong foundation for lifelong learning in early childhood.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Charlotte, VT, for an Infant Teacher. The Infant Teacher will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants to learn and grow. Responsibilities include creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, fostering early learning and development, monitoring the well‑being and progress of each child, and maintaining open communication with families and staff members. Collaboration with colleagues to implement best practices and ensure a positive learning environment will also be critical.

• Strong knowledge of Early Childhood Development and Child Development principles
• Experience in Curriculum Development and Teaching young children, especially infants
• Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues
• Passion for nurturing young children and fostering their growth and development
• Relevant certifications in early childhood education or infant care preferred
• Prior experience as an infant teacher or working with infants is an advantage
