Graphic Design

What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands and licenses? As a Manager of Graphic Design for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point.

This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Senior Graphic Artist Manager leads the seasonal design process from concept through delivery, guiding a team of graphic artists to create original, on-trend artwork that supports product goals and drives sales. This role ensures projects stay on track, maintains consistent quality across categories, and supports pitch and special projects as needed. The Sr. Graphic Artist Manager maintains brand and private-label aesthetics while designing commercially driven, trend-right graphics and prints for sleepwear and sportswear across multiple distribution tiers.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Innovation
  • Stay ahead of relevant trends by researching categories and brands, reviewing competitive landscapes, and gathering online references to inspire the creative team.
  • Provide strategic insight to ensure designs align with product goals, market needs, and consumer trends.
Graphic Team Development
  • Lead seasonal design concept development in partnership with Design, Sales, and Creative leadership, balancing trend direction, assortment needs, and cost structure.
  • Ensure timely execution of the product development calendar and brand cohesion across categories.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture by developing and mentoring talent and effectively managing up when necessary.
Operations & Results
  • Guide the team through quality and technical challenges, overseeing the creation of graphic concepts and all-over repeat prints.
  • Partner closely with Design, Final Art, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
Customers & Relationships
  • Serve as a key point of contact with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Production, Legal, and IT to ensure compliance, streamline workflows, and recommend system and tool enhancements.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
  • Proven ability to lead a creative team and work collaboratively across functions, including managing up professionally.
  • Experience developing apparel graphics, all-over repeat prints, and well-balanced presentations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; team-oriented and detail-focused.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality, creative work.
  • Deep understanding of printing techniques, including fabric properties and color limitations.
  • Skilled at giving clear, concise direction to a creative team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in apparel design, with significant experience in both branded and generic art development.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experienced with Microsoft Outlook and Mac systems.
