A community-focused healthcare organization in Vermont is seeking a Dentist to join its growing dental program. The organization is open to candidates seeking part-time or full-time employment and offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive general dentistry while working alongside and providing clinical oversight to Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and comfortable providing a broad range of preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services.

• Provide routine and emergency dental care, including diagnosis and individualized treatment planning
• Perform general restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery
• Evaluate patients using medical and dental history, clinical findings, radiographs, and laboratory studies
• Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications as clinically appropriate
• Provide preventive care and patient education focused on long-term oral health
• Provide follow-up care and refer patients for specialty services when appropriate
• Utilize a conservative restorative approach focused on preserving healthy tooth structure
• Monitor conditions requiring specialty intervention, including wisdom tooth eruption
• Participate in community dental and oral health initiatives

• Provide clinical supervision and support to Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants
• Collaborate closely with other dental and healthcare team members
• Support clinical quality, productivity, and patient access initiatives
• Assist with clinical workflows, scheduling processes, and guidelines for care
• Participate in staff education and ongoing training
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation
• Ensure care meets applicable professional, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
• Help foster a collaborative, patient-centered practice environment

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active or eligible for dental licensure in Vermont
• Strong knowledge of current general dentistry practices and clinical standards
• Ability to independently manage a broad general dentistry patient population
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable collaborating with and supervising dental support staff
• Community health center experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with applicable accreditation and regulatory standards preferred
