Clinical Role:

• Locum Tenens Hospitalist opening

• Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician

• Dates of Coverage: April 6-11, 20-25

• Shift Schedule: 12pm-12pm daily

• Certification Required: ACLS (Required)

• Credentialing: Rush - ASAP start

• Location: Springfield, Vermont

• Total Beds: Licensed for 25 acute beds (approximately 16 staffed)

• Average Daily Census: 6.9

• ICU Beds: 0

• Max Census: 25 total (includes 10 offsite inpatient psych beds)

• Average Daily Discharges: 2

• Average Length of Stay (Med/Surg): 3.8 days

• Swing Beds: Included in the 25-bed acute count

• Transfer Information: Critically ill patients transferred to higher-level facility (distance TBD)

• Vent Management

• Central Lines

• Lumbar Puncture

• Paracentesis / Thoracentesis

• Intubations

• Available Onsite (M-F): General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Uro-Gynecology, Podiatry

• After Hours / Weekends: Coverage may vary

• Anesthesia: Offsite call after hours and weekends

• Emergency Department: Onsite support

• EMR Systems: CPSI, T-System, Allscripts

• Sleeping Arrangements: On-site or nearby accommodations provided

• Credentialing Timeline: Rush processing available
