Kingdom East School District (KESD) is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to administer and interpret cognitive, academic, and other assessments in order to determine student needs related to VT educational disability categories. This position is an integral part of the district’s evaluation team and collaborates closely with evaluators, special educators, administrators, and classroom teachers to support the team process in determining student needs in a least restrictive educational environment, ensuring all pre‑K‑12th grade students access FAPE.

There is an opportunity for the candidate to provide layers of professional development opportunities within the district. KESD uses both a pattern of strength‑and‑weakness model and RTI, which complements its high‑functioning MTSS, ESS, and Act 77 programming. The candidate adheres to the Standards of Practice under the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) credential, and is a positive and effective team member who respects students and families with diverse needs.

Successful candidates will possess advanced degrees in School Psychology and be eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist by the Vermont Agency of Education, and adhere to state and federal laws.
