Job DescriptionBerkshire Elementary-Middle School is seeking a dynamic and caring PK‑8 Assistant Principal for approximately 195 students and a dedicated staff of 40 that value kindness, respect, responsibility, hard work and fun. A strong candidate will have proven ability to lead school improvement efforts focused on high academic, social and behavioral expectations for all learners. Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union (FNESU) is a Pre‑K‑12 system comprised of six rural towns in Northern Vermont:
Bakersfield, Berkshire, Enosburg, Montgomery, Richford and Sheldon. FNESU serves approximately 1,950 students within our six towns. The system is located in rural northwestern Vermont, close to outdoor recreation and ski resorts.
Position Type: Full‑time
Job Requirements- Must hold a current VT Teaching License with 3‑91 Principal endorsement.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
