The Milton Town School District is seeking a full-time High School Library Assistant to assist students and faculty in the use of the library-media center, maintain order in the center—including selection of books, materials, and equipment—and create a safe and welcoming environment that supports the needs of our school community.

• Assist students and faculty in accessing library materials.
• Maintain order and organization in the library-media center.
• Select and manage books, materials, and equipment.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.

• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people.
• Minimum high school education; college graduate preferred.
• School library experience preferred.
• Computer skills essential.
• Experience working with students ranging in age from 4 to 18 years old.
• Available to work until 4:00 PM on school days.

Benefits include health insurance, dental, and life insurance. Pay range is $20.80 to $23.80 or more, based on experience and education level.
