Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a summer‑time school cafeteria worker in our child nutrition department at Essex High School. EWSD is pursuing candidates with a genuine commitment to providing nutritious food options to students of all ages within the district.

Responsibilities include accepting deliveries and loading trucks and coolers with food items.

Pay: $24.50 per hour

Schedule available: Monday-Friday, 6am-10am or 6am-12pm depending on the daily workload.

Primary job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the State Sanitation Guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food
• Assist with maintaining inventory.
• Assist in ensuring that students conduct themselves in line with established cafeteria rules. Report unusual problems to the building administrator or Food Service Director.
• Perform cashier duties: set up cash drawer; operate cash register; cash out at the end of the day.
