Job DescriptionSutton Village School, serving children in grades K-8, is seeking two teachers to join our 1st-4th grade team for the 2026/2027 school year. We hire dynamic, inquisitive candidates committed to collaborative teaming. Experience with structured literacy, UFLI, workshop model, POA/PNOA, positive behavior interventions, and Responsive Classroom are a priority. Interest in project-based and outdoor learning is preferred. We seek creative, passionate teachers who love children, and with their team will provide a strong foundation to our intermediate students.
A sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people is a necessity. The individual will be part of a team including other grade level teachers, special educators and interventionists. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467.
- Has or is eligible for Vermont educators license
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
