The Group Leader supervises students, leads activities, and works under the supervision of the Site Coordinator on a daily basis. The group leader is responsible for supervising their group of students front the start to the end of the program. KEAP operates according to Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grant requirements and school policies and procedures. The pay range for this position is currently $18.00-$25.00/hr.
Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing.
We are located about 3 hours from Boston, Montreal and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues.
