Job Description

Lyndon Town School, serving Pre‑K to Grade 8 in Lyndonville, Vermont, is looking for a 7th Grade Math Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year.

We seek a dynamic, high‑quality math teacher who is eager to join a high‑energy, collaborative environment and commit to teaching in a middle‑school model. Building strong relationships with students is a priority.

  • Deliver mathematics instruction using the Open Up Resources curriculum, workshop model, and Common Core Standards.
  • Work closely with a collaborative team of middle‑school teachers.
  • Apply evidence‑based math strategies, workshop models, positive behavior interventions, formative assessments, and Developmental Designs.
  • Create a supportive, engaging classroom that encourages high levels of achievement.

Preferred credentials: 5‑9 Middle grades or 7‑12 mathematics endorsement. At least a bachelor's degree. Eligible for a Vermont educator’s license.

Pay range: $46,267–$89,467 per year.

Minimum requirements:

VT educator’s license or eligibility, citizenship/residency, and high school completion. Experience with the required curriculum and strategies is preferred.

Aug 10, 2026.
