Milton Town School District is seeking two dynamic, innovative math teachers to join our middle school (grades 5‑8) beginning in August 2026. The successful candidate will be a dedicated practitioner of student‑centered mathematics, implementing the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSS‑M) through a balanced approach that emphasizes both procedural fluency and deep conceptual understanding. We are looking for an educator who facilitates an inquiry‑based classroom where students engage in the Standards for Mathematical Practice—specifically making sense of problems, reasoning abstractly, and constructing viable arguments.

As an integral part of a collaborative team, the candidate will utilize Marzano’s high‑yield instructional strategies and data‑informed practices to dismantle systemic barriers and improve outcomes for all learners. Beyond the curriculum, the ideal candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills and a commitment to the holistic development of the middle‑level student. By employing trauma‑informed practices and restorative circles as foundational components of classroom management, the successful candidate will foster a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment where every student develops mathematical agency and confidence.

Salary: $53,266 - $85,423 (based on degree and experience). Full benefits offered. Starting date:

• Current and valid Educator’s License with a middle school math endorsement
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
