Woodford School was built in 1809 as a small one-room schoolhouse. In the early 1900's schools from 3 other Woodford locations were consolidated into the current site. The former locations of the schools were:
1. Next to the current Woodford Mall
2. Next to Whispering Pine Motel 3. On Long Trail Rd. An addition was added in 1984 to the size it is now. It now houses 3 graded classrooms, a technology classroom, a multi-purpose room, a Title 1 classroom and a multi-use Principal's Office. The current configurations of the classrooms are: 1. Grades K, 1, and 2 2. Combination 3 and 4, with the library
3. Combination 5 and 6, with a separate kitchen area. The technology classroom houses 7 computers, a laser printer, and digital cameras. Art, a nurse's office and K-2 lunch are held in the multi-purpose room. The multi-use Principal's Office is the principal's office, indoor gym, and Music.

• Bachelor’s Degree in the related content area
• Eligible to hold Vermont Certification in Music
• Experience in Vocal & Instrumental
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
