The River Bend Career & Technical Center located in Bradford, Vermont is seeking a CTE Lab Assistant for our Heavy Equipment program for the 2026‑2027 school year. The Lab Assistant will support students and program instructors within the labs, performing a variety of supportive activities for a diverse student population.
CompensationThis position pays between $19.22 and $29.72 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined by the district’s collective bargaining agreement, which considers factors such as degree level and years of service. This range is provided in accordance with Vermont’s Pay Transparency Law and reflects a good faith estimate. Final salary may vary based on the final ratification of the 26‑27 Collective Bargaining Agreement, qualifications, licensure, and other factors.

ResponsibilitiesSupport students and instructors in the Heavy Equipment labs, providing hands‑on assistance and maintaining equipment. Engage with high school‑age students in a supportive, educational environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience preferred.
- Must possess a Type I Vermont School Bus endorsement or be willing to obtain it.
- Experience working with high school students is preferred.
- Must possess Class B CDL or be willing to obtain it.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
