Job Description

The First Branch Unified School District, serving the communities of Chelsea and Tunbridge, Vermont, is seeking a dynamic and student-centered educator to serve as our Librarian and Pathways Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position is based at the Chelsea Campus and will support students in grades PreK and 5th–8th.

We are Kind. We are Strong. We are Well.

In 8th grade, the Pathways course also supports students in the development and completion of their Capstone Projects. Students engage in long-term projects connected to their interests, future goals, and community connections while building presentation, research, and reflection skills.

  • Build connections with community partners for guest speakers, mentorship opportunities, or mini-internships
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where student voice and choice are valued
