Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, middle school-based position (grades 6-8) in Ascutney, Vermont. This role is for the 2026–2027 school year.

• Provide individualized instruction to early childhood students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals and developmental milestones
• Use play-based and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers (SLPs, OTs, PTs), and families
• Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for young learners

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
• Valid Vermont Special Education teaching certificationK-12 (or eligibility)
• Experience in special education settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
