Our Center for Technology, Essex has an opportunity for a full-time program lab assistant to support our Building Technology - Resident ail program beginning with the 2026-27 school year. In our Residential Building Trades program, students learn how to build a home from the ground up - constructing a home from foundation to finish, gaining hands-on experience and skills that will last a lifetime.
The lab assistant assists the program instructor in the education of students including management of student behavior; record keeping; instructional assistance; classroom and field work/laboratory safety, security, set-up and organization; and interaction and communication with students, support staff, parents/guardians, and other internal and external constituents.
Pay: 23.51+ based on experience

Individual with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Two years of experience in building trades, construction or related field
- Experience working with children/adolescents and adults especially those with special needs or at-risk of dropping out of school
- Good basic supervisory skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning or organizational skills
