Part-Time School Counselor FTE

The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking a Part-Time School Counselor. The ideal candidate will provide whole-class instruction to our multi-age classes, including a curriculum that integrates health and wellness as a whole-child approach. This person will assist the administration and faculty with guidance-related concerns and enhance students' social-emotional competence through ongoing instruction. This collaborative position will work with other staff in the building to ensure each student is healthy, safe, engaged, and challenged for long-term success.

The anticipated assignment for this position is 2 days per week at Woodbury Elementary School; however, all Mountain View staff could be subject to reassignment to another campus within the school district.

Currently, our MTSS, PBIS, and multi-grade faculty collaborate to educate the whole child. The successful candidate will also be collaborative, a good problem solver, and demonstrate knowledge, skills, and a disposition that supports children's varying needs.

• Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, the Vermont AOE license 1-64 in School Counseling. New Staff Orientation is required for 3 days starting August 17 and ending August 19, 2026.

• Master degree preferred.
