Job DescriptionCabot School seeks a caring, dynamic, and innovative teacher to join our successful, project‑based high school team. Over the last several years, our high school teaching team has solidified an innovative project‑based approach to our high school program. This position is a full‑time position starting in the school year. We are seeking a teacher with experience and a love of young people in the high school grades who has experience meeting the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.

- Ability to exhibit flexibility
- Facilitate and direct the development of the ELA instructional program for students who need support in reading and writing.
- Demonstrate effective instructional strategies for students to improve their literacy skills.
- Monitor the academic progress of identified students following interventions based on assessment data, and use the assessment results to modify instructional lessons.
- Assist administrators and teachers in using the data to identify students who need additional assistance.
- Per other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate would have experience as a teacher leader and curriculum maker in a proficiency‑based learning environment. They would be able to teach collaboratively with a variety of colleagues and think flexibly about the ways in which students engage in learning.
