Qualifications:

• Current state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school student populations
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and learning assessments
• Ability to conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret results effectively
• Exceptional communication and consultation skills for collaborating with staff and families
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and recommend interventions and strategies tailored to individual students
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams, including IEP and 504 meetings
• Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support to students as needed
• Support teachers and parents with recommendations and training to enhance student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the development of student plans
• Stay updated on best practices and compliance in school psychology
