Special Educator (Williston Central School) Needed

Location:

Williston Central School –  School Year (1.0 FTE, Permanent).

Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking an innovative, energetic and collaborative individual to join the Williston Central School community and special education team. We are seeking a professional with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills who matches our passion for an integrated special education service delivery model within a multi-tiered system of supports.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in collaborative teaming (including collaborating with classroom teachers to co‑design instruction), knowledge of special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to integrate a variety of assessment information to develop intervention programs.

Masters degree or equivalent in Special Education or another appropriate discipline plus 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in providing special education services are preferred.
