We are looking for a positive, energetic school counselor to support the learning and growth of all students and staff. A successful candidate will build strong relationships with students, work closely with the SEL team, promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs through a comprehensive program that includes class lessons, small student groups, and individualized sessions.

• Collaborate with educators to implement curriculum and prevention-oriented group activities.
• Incorporate life skills essential for success in the 21st century into the program.
• Assist all students individually or in groups with developing academic, career, and personal/social goals, including PLPs.
• Accurately interpret and utilize student data.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators for educational, career, and life planning.
• Provide individual and group services to students with identified concerns.
• Consult and collaborate with community resources and coordinate a referral and follow‑up process.
• Coordinate specific programs and supports throughout the school community.
• Assist stakeholders in interpreting student data.
• Participate in professional learning activities and use technology resources to enhance the counseling program.
• Adhere to laws, policies, procedures, and ethical standards of the school counseling profession.

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field.
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Criminal record check required.

• Certifications or proof of ability to obtain required certifications.
• References, three current letters of recommendation (3 years or less).
