Milton Town School District is seeking an Intensive Needs Special Educator or SLP to join a dynamic Multidisciplinary Team of educators that provides exemplary inclusive education for students with intensive special needs. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis and the ability to create effective data collection systems. The chosen candidate will support teams with data collection, data analysis, and programmatic decision-making.

This position requires the applicant to possess a working knowledge of evidence-based approaches in consultation, direct instruction, and supervision to support staff. Responsibilities include case management, ongoing communication with families and community partners, creation of behavior support plans, and performing functional behavioral assessments. Applicants with an endorsement in Intensive Special Education or SLP are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary: $53,266 - $85,423. Salary is based on degree and experience.

• Current Vermont State Education license with an endorsement in Intensive Special Education.
  Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  Prior successful teaching experience and skills in collaboration and inclusionary education.
  Knowledge of district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
