Job DescriptionMilton Town School District is seeking an innovative and dynamic School Psychologist to join our school district beginning the school year. The primary goal of this position is to assist the Office of Student Services in ensuring that all of our student scholars are reaching their academic, social, emotional, and physical potential. Through psycho-educational assessments, the School Psychologist will support the development of academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions.
The School Psychologist who fills this position will be joining a Vermont School District that works extremely closely with Licensed Psychologist Dr. Joelle van Lent.
Salary: $75,000-$85,000. Salary will be based on degrees and experience and could be more. Full benefits.

Job Requirements- Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
- Vermont license as a psychologist
- Ability to synthesize and interpret diagnostic and assessment data
- Comprehensive knowledge of school psychology theory, child development, substance abuse education, tests and measurements, and crisis management
- Ability to practically apply assessment, counseling, interviewing, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work cooperatively as an interdisciplinary team member
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to communicate courteously, efficiently, and effectively with students, faculty, administrators, parents, and representatives of outside organizations
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with peers, subordinates, supervisors, parents, and outside agencies
- At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Master degree preferred.
