GRCSU Paraeducator

Job Description

GRCSU is seeking Paraeducators for the  school year. Paraeducators support students and collaborate with teachers within the school setting by performing a variety of supportive activities for a diverse student population.

• Work with individual, small, or large groups of students to reinforce instruction and support student learning.
• Support classroom teachers in curriculum delivery, activity modification, and other curriculum implementation duties as assigned.
• Support student accommodations and provide re‑instruction for specific students under the supervision of appropriate professionals.
• Implement curriculum materials under the supervision of a classroom teacher and/or special educator.
• Assist students with work completion within classroom and guided study settings.
• Assist in meeting targeted instruction goals and objectives.
• Assist with general classroom behavior management procedures.
• Document student progress and performance.
• Maintain confidentiality in dealing with student, school, and district matters.

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
