Charlotte Central School (CCS) is seeking an energetic Non-Intensive Para educator (1.0 FTE) to join our general education team starting the  school year. The successful candidate will help create a welcoming, friendly, and growth-minded environment that ensures the best educational opportunities for all students. In this role, they will work with licensed professionals and staff to support the overall smooth functioning of academic programs and student independence.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Supporting instructional and behavioral activities developed and adjusted by designated professionals.
  • Collecting and sharing student data with the appropriate educational personnel.
  • Supervising students during assigned duties, including lunch, recess, and before/after school transitions.
  • Fostering student independence to ensure full participation in all school activities.
  • Collaborating with staff, families, and related service providers to ensure instructional continuity.
  • Providing student support on bus routes and offering substitute coverage as assigned.
  • Participating in team meetings upon request to monitor student progress.
  • Carrying out school and district policies with high levels of professional integrity.
