Qualifications- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience with elementary caseloads
- Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom community
- Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students needs
- Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and school staff
- Implement evidence-based interventions and support strategies for autism spectrum disorders
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and assistants
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support parents and caregivers with resources and communication
- Create a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom climate
