• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with elementary caseloads
• Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom community

• Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and school staff
• Implement evidence-based interventions and support strategies for autism spectrum disorders
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and assistants
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Support parents and caregivers with resources and communication
• Create a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom climate
