Job DescriptionCabot School is seeking dynamic educators to join our project‑based team. We are a team of curious learners and listeners who facilitate projects that are real and relevant, content‑based and skills driven. If you are someone who has experience working with young people to create work together, solve problems together, and foster a culture of learning, consider applying to our unique community.
A rural pre‑k to 12 school, Cabot’s educational model is unique. We ask students to be changemakers and resources to their community and we ask educators to help students create high quality work that matters.
Although teachers must attain Vermont teaching certification to work with us, we are looking for professional educators who have worked in a variety of settings with young people and have a broad range of expertise and experience. We encourage non‑traditional candidates to apply.
Ideal candidates will be able to speak about their educational philosophy and have knowledge of—or willingness to learn about—project‑based learning, deeper learning, and restorative and trauma‑informed practices.
