Job DescriptionWestshire Elementary School is seeking an elementary teacher certified with an elementary endorsement for grades K–6. The ideal applicant enjoys working with children, collaborates with colleagues, and has teaching experience. The candidate must have knowledge of best practices in literacy and math instruction, be well‑versed in responsive classroom techniques, and be prepared to teach all subjects with a focus on math and literacy for grades 2–5.
Students also spend time in the forest classroom each week.

Welcome to Westshire ElementaryWestshire Elementary School is a preK‑5 grade public elementary school in the Rivendell District. Rivendell Interstate School District was the first K‑12 interstate school district in the United States and now serves three Vermont towns (Fairlee, West Fairlee, and Vershire) and one New Hampshire town (Orford). The district is located in the picturesque Upper Valley near Dartmouth College and Dartmouth‑Hitchcock Medical Center, and it includes beautiful Lake Morey and Lake Fairlee with a 37‑mile hiking trail that connects the four towns.
