Vermont Day School is an independent PreK-8 school in Shelburne, Vermont. Our belief is that education should be inspiring, appropriately challenging, relevant and meaningful. We encourage our students to be passionate learners, creative thinkers, effective communicators and responsible global citizens.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic educators to substitute in our classrooms as needed. This might entail subbing for one of our head classroom teachers or for a specialist teacher in Art, Music, STEM or Spanish. Part‑time availability is an option, as applicants can let us know what days they are available to teach. The position comes with room to grow and may expand into a permanent Teaching Assistant position at our school.
