Brattleboro Union High School seeks a talented and dynamic part‑time Spanish teacher with strong collaborative skills. Successful applicants will be licensed or able to be licensed in Spanish (grades 7‑12) by the State of Vermont and be able to teach beginning through intermediate Spanish. Prior experience teaching Spanish in grades 9‑12 is preferred.

The BUHS Modern and Classical Language Department is one of the premier language departments in New England and places a high value on oral proficiency and authentic cultural experiences. The department offers French, Spanish, Chinese, and German through the advanced level, as well as up to four years of Latin. Candidates should be familiar with the Brattleboro Union High School Core Values and be conversant with Common Core State Standards.

Successful candidates will be able to discuss their expertise and experience working with students from historically marginalized demographic groups.
