GRCSU Pre‑K Substitute Staff – Are you passionate about early childhood education? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Pre‑K Substitute Staff.

The Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union (GRCSU) is seeking individuals who are interested in working with our Pre‑K students and classrooms. The schools include Middletown Springs Elementary School, Poultney Elementary, Proctor Elementary, Rutland Town School, Wells Village School, and West Rutland School.

To be considered for substituting in these schools and their Pre‑K Program you must be able to complete the following:

• Fingerprinting and Federal Background Check
• Child First Aid and CPR
• 10 hours of online training as directed by the state of Vermont

Ideal candidates will:

• Enjoy working with young children
• Be flexible and dependable
• Support the daily learning and care of Pre‑K students

In addition, you must have reliable transportation and be able to keep your commitment to schools when you accept assignments. As part of the application process, please be prepared to provide contact information for three professional references. Experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required.
